  • ½ cup all-purpose flour (for streusel)
  • ⅓ cup brown sugar (for streusel, packed)
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon (for streusel)
  • ¼ cup cold unsalted butter (for streusel, cut into small cubes)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8 or 9×9-inch baking pan.
  2. Combine flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon for streusel topping; mix in cold butter until crumbly.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Cream softened butter with granulated and brown sugars until fluffy.
  5. Add eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla extract and sour cream; mix well.
