  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup crispy cooked Turkey Bacon, crumbled
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 12 lasagna noodles, cooked al dente
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan (for topping)
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the meat sauce by browning ground beef with diced onion and garlic. Stir in turkey bacon, marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  2. For the béchamel sauce, melt butter and whisk in flour. Gradually add milk until thickened, then stir in Parmesan cheese and garlic powder.
  3. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). In a baking dish, layer meat sauce, lasagna noodles, béchamel, and cheeses until ingredients are used up.
  4. Bake covered with foil for 30 minutes; remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden brown. Let rest before serving.
