  • 10 oz. mushrooms (button or baby bella)
  • 2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 34 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2½ cups beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • ⅓ cup heavy cream
  • Salt/Pepper

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter with olive oil. Cook chicken until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes per side. Remove from skillet.
  2. In the same skillet, sauté sliced mushrooms until golden brown. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
  3. Sprinkle flour over mushrooms; stir to coat. Gradually whisk in beef broth, then add bouillon cube, soy sauce, and spices. Simmer until thickened.
  4. Combine cornstarch with cold water; stir into sauce along with heavy cream. Return chicken to pan to heat through.
