  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 23 tbsp milk for glaze
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract for glaze

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a bundt pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in eggs one at a time, then mix in sour cream and vanilla.
  5. Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk until just combined.
  6. In a separate bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon.
  7. Pour half the batter into the bundt pan, sprinkle with half the cinnamon mixture, then layer with remaining batter and sprinkle the rest of the cinnamon mixture on top.
  8. Swirl with a knife to create ribbons of cinnamon.
  9. Bake for 50–60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Let cool before removing from the pan.
