  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 ½ cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 9 sheets oven-ready lasagna noodles

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, seasoning it with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Stir in the marinara sauce and let it simmer for about five minutes.
  4. In a 9×13-inch baking dish, spread some meat sauce on the bottom. Layer the oven-ready noodles over the sauce.
  5. Spread dollops of ricotta cheese over the noodles, followed by meat sauce and mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with mozzarella and parmesan on top.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then remove foil and bake an additional 10–15 minutes until bubbly.
  7. Let rest for about 10 minutes before slicing.
