  • 1 cup pecan halves
  • 2/3 cup butter (for caramel)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (for caramel)
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • Extra chopped pecans (for garnish)
  • Sea salt flakes (for garnish)
  • Drizzled caramel sauce (for finishing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour and brown sugar; cut in cold butter until crumbly. Press into the pan as the crust.
  3. Evenly sprinkle pecans over the crust.
  4. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine butter and brown sugar for caramel; stir until bubbling, then cook for one minute.
  5. Pour hot caramel over the pecans and crust.
  6. Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden-brown.
