  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 23 garlic cloves, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: ¼ cup heavy cream
  • Optional: 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • Optional: 4 tbsp cold water

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken dry and season with salt, pepper, oregano, onion powder, and paprika.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together honey, Dijon mustard, melted butter, and minced garlic.
  3. Place the seasoned chicken in the crockpot and pour the sauce over it.
  4. Cook on LOW for about 3 hours or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
  5. Shred the chicken or leave it in chunks; stir in heavy cream if desired.
  6. For a thicker sauce, combine cornstarch with cold water and add to the crockpot; cook for an additional 30 minutes.
