  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into thin strips
  • 2 cups fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice or noodles

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sliced chicken and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove from the skillet.
  2. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of vegetable oil and the green beans. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  3. Add minced garlic and ginger; cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
  4. Return the chicken to the skillet. In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes (if using). Pour over chicken and green beans; stir to combine and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  5. Serve hot over cooked rice or noodles.
